A Fantastic Find In Eugowra

June 28, 2018 by Maggi Barnard

Two fantastic blocks of land, side by side and known as 61 Oberon Street, Eugowra are presented for sale.

This beautifully presented three bedroom home, has nothing to spend on it. The three bedrooms, equipped with built-ins and together with privacy blinds, make for very comfortable rooms.

The kitchen has views over the back yard and includes a gas cooktop, electric wall oven and dishwasher. The combined living and dining room have privacy blinds.

There are two bathrooms, a separate toilet off the laundry and a reverse cycle ducted aircon throughout. All windows have insect screens and the doors have security screens as well.

With 1.5 solar connected to the grid and instant gas hot water, there are savings to be made here.

Overlooking the back garden is a fully lined patio with blinds. So sit back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings in the lovely village of Eugowra.

Remember that you can subdivide the second block, so there is a possible instant income here as well.

Come and have a look at the home when it is open for inspection on Saturday, 7th July at 10:00am or call Cheryl Newsom from Ian Simpson & Co. now for an inspection on 0411 211 065.

What do you do to unwind after work or on weekends? I play in my garden and enjoy my family.

What are you really good at? Being a mum.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? Could I just have a magic wand please?

Question of the week -How many years have you been to the Forbes Eisteddfod and why do you like supporting it?

June 28, 2018 by Maggi Barnard

Nikki Patten: We’ve been coming for about 10 years, watching nieces, nephews and children perform. It’s a fantastic local event held right here in Forbes and has a high standard.

Gail Smith: I’ve been involved with this eisteddfod for probably 15 years. I’ve supported it because I like avenues for children to be able to get up and perform and there aren’t many opportunities for them to do that. There are also lifelong friendships formed.

Megan Hodge: This is our first time to the Forbes Eisteddfod. We were very excited to be invited and have taken the opportunity to participate.

How long have you lived in Forbes and what do you like about living here? I was born in Forbes but spent many years travelling Australia for music. As well as being my home town, Forbes is a pretty place with its lagoon and the Lachlan River. It’s not crowded but still has most of my needs.

What are you really good at? I was never very good at school so I had to find something else I could do. It turned out to be music and bush work!

If you could have a super power, what would it be? If I could have a super power, I’d like to live for a thousand years with perfect health. One lifetime’s not enough.
