How long have you lived in or around Forbes and what do you like about living here? I’ve lived in Forbes for 21 years since 2000. It’s so peaceful here and the people are so welcoming and friendly. There’s also an ease of access with everything here in Forbes such as services. Originally from Ungarie.

What do you do for a living? Hobby farmer. Love getting out amongst it. I won’t retire til they put me in a box.

What makes you laugh the most? Plenty of things.

If money were no object, what would you do with your time? Agriculture. It is my passion and always been a huge part of my life even since I was a child. I love being amongst it.

Describe your dream holiday? Any break is a good break. Especially when you can go on a holiday

Best advice? Never give up.

If you could live in any time or place, where and when would that be? Here and now is fine by me though any other other time in history would have been interesting too.

If you could share a meal with any three people, past or present, who would they be? My daughter, Ken Rosewall and Ash Barty. I love tennis especially at Australian Open time during our summer and I love my daughter.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Cancel Daylight Savings.

What is your pet hate? Daylight Savings. Can’t stand it or see the need for it. Serves no benefit and only makes people tired in my view.

How long have you lived in or around Forbes and what do you like most about living here? I have been living here six months and I love how easy it is to get a park at the shops. Mosquitoes and catheads are a bonus too.

What was your first job? I was a guitar teacher.

What makes you laugh the most? Dylan Moran from Black Books brand of comedy.

If money were no object what would you do with your time? I wouldn’t change anything really but I would live in a much colder place like Finland or Iceland.

Describe your dream holiday? A lovely log cabin next to a Norwegian mountain top and a hot tub with my partner, Dane and a bottle of plonk.

What is a favourite childhood memory of yours? Throwing buttery bread into my sister’s face as she rode past on a bike. I don’t think people realise how hard that is to do.

If you could live in any time or place, when or where would that be? Present day in a Scandinavian country.

If you could share a meal with any three people past or present who would they be? Emma Goldman, David Mark Wallace and Robert Smith.

If you could have a superpower what would it be? Invisibility.

What is your pet hate? Dishes in the sink and the Dunning-Kruger Effect.

How long have you lived in or around Forbes and what do you like about living here? I’ve lived in Forbes for seven years. I like how relaxed it is.

What was your first job? My very first job was cotton chipping.

What makes you laugh the most? My own folly usually.

If money were no object, what would you do with your time? Create.

Describe your dream holiday? As Johnny Cash once said, “To be with her drinking coffee.”

What is a favourite childhood memory of yours? Making my first short film.

If you could live in any time or place, where and when would that be? America in the 1960s and 70s.

If you could share a meal with any three people, past or present, who would they be? My partner and my two daughters.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? To have ears everywhere.

What is your pet hate? Liars.

How long have you lived in or around Forbes and what do you like about living here? I have lived in Forbes my whole life. I love being really close to my family and friends and being able to experience so many awesome sporting opportunities.

What was your first job? My first job was at the Sweet Three Vintage Van.

What makes you laugh the most? My dad, with all of his funny and not so funny dad jokes.

If money were no object, what would you do with your time? I would travel the world.

Describe your dream holiday? Would be to travel to Greece with my best friend Scarlett.

What is a favourite childhood memory of yours? My favourite childhood memory is definitely travelling to L.A. for the Netfit netball tour.

If you could live in any time or place, where and when would that be? I would love to live in Byron Bay. So cruisy, so fun and so beautiful. Possibly tomorrow if I could.

If you could share a meal with any three people, past or present, who would they be? My old swim coach, Mary Messner, great nanna Rosso, and Laura Langman.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Teleportation.
What is your pet hate? Being late!

How long have you lived in or around Forbes and what do you like about living here? I have lived in Forbes all my life, I love how lucky we are to have such a beautiful and historical town.

What was your first job? Grape harvesting at the nearby vineyard.

What makes you laugh the most? Seeing my cat get up to funny antics.

If money were no object, what would you do with your time? I’d complete a law PhD.

Describe your dream holiday? My dream holiday would include seeing the Northern lights from a glass igloo.

What is a favourite childhood memory of yours? Reciting Bush Poetry to my grandparents.

If you could share a meal with any three people, past or present, who would they be? I would love to share a meal with Elon Musk, Ernie Els and Leonardo Da Vinci.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? The ability to manipulate time.

What is your pet hate? My pet hate is discrimination.

How long have you lived in or around Forbes and what do you like about living here? Since I was three years old. I love how everyone knows everyone, it’s a friendly beautiful town!

What was your first job? Working at Mc- Donald’s when I was 13.

What makes you laugh the most? When I am hanging around my friends and family having a joke.

If money were no object, what would you do with your time? Honestly, I would love to stay home and be with my son every day as he means the most to me.

Describe your dream holiday? A beautiful beach, kicking back and having a cocktail in the sun with my family, exploring around, relaxing, and eating lots of yummy food.

What is a favourite childhood memory of yours? Growing up in the caravan park. Playing with my sister and making memories.

If you could live in any time or place, where and when would that be? I would love back in the olden days when they used to wear the big dresses and social media and phones were not a thing and playing outside was your entertainment.

If you could share a meal with any three people, past or present, who would they be? My grandfather who passed away. I would happily sit and have a meal with the Rock, the actor, because who wouldn’t? Lastly, a five-star resort, kid free, with my husband.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? It would be to fly, oh I wish I could fly!

What is your pet hate? Mess, I really do not like mess!

How long have you lived in or around Forbes and what do you like about living here? All my life, I was born in Forbes. My family is here, so I like that.

What was your first job? I worked doing pamphlets for nan and pop.

What makes you laugh the most? Genuinely funny, down to earth people.

If money were no object, what would you do with your time? I’m doing it now, by making music, and living culture, being in nature and walking with mother earth. That is what gives me peace.

Describe your dream holiday? I’d love to go all around this continent and see the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, remote cave paintings and more.

What is a favourite childhood memory of yours? Spending Christmas with the whole family.

If you could live in any time or place, where and when would that be? I’d like to live in Wiradjuri country pre colonisation.

If you could share a meal with any three people, past or present, who would they be? Great grandparents, or ancestors, those who helped shape me that I never got to meet.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Teleportation.

What is your pet hate? Gossip.

How long have you lived in or around Forbes and what do you like about living here? I’ve been here for about 18 years and I like the people in Forbes and how different it is to where I’m from.

What was your first job? Stacking shelves in a mini mart in Wilcannia.

What makes you laugh the most? Being around family.

If money were no object, what would you do with your time? I’d probably take on more hobbies and put more time into my painting.

Describe your dream holiday? I want to go up North to Darwin and Kakadu.

What is a favourite childhood memory of yours? Hanging with my cousin, getting up to mischief and swimming in the river.

If you could live in any time or place, where and when would that be? Forbes, 2020.

If you could share a meal with any three people, past or present, who would they be? My dad, my mum, and sister.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? To be able to read a person’s mind, only when I need to though.

What is your pet hate? Bad manners.

What school do you go to and what do you like most about it? I go to Forbes Public School and I like it because I get to play with my friends.

What is your favourite subject at school and why? I like art because I’m really good at drawing and like free drawing.

What makes you laugh the most? Van and Max.

What is your dream job? To work at Google because they’ve got a slippery dip and you can have unlimited sushi for free while working at a computer.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? To control time and physics.

What is something you are really good at? Drawing, definitely.

What is your pet hate? Global warming and the next mass extinction.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? When there is no COVID, I would probably go to Canada for a year to see the snow, then live near the Great Barrier Reef.

How long have you lived in or around Forbes and what do you like about living here? I’ve lived around here for my whole life. I like the easy lifestyle, the Lake in Forbes is beautiful and what the Council has done with it is great.

What was your first job? I worked at Sullivan’s IGA, Forbes.

What makes you laugh the most? Inappropriate funny jokes.

If money were no object, what would you do with your time? Just travel around Australia.

Describe your dream holiday? I reckon the top end of Australia, but just being on holidays anywhere is good.

What is a favourite childhood memory of yours? I think life was just simpler when I was a kid, we didn’t have to have all of the gadgets. I think Christmas had more meaning and was more memorable when I was young.

If you could live in any time or place, where and when would that be? I’d go back to the 90’s but I’m pretty happy where I am now. I also think Canada would be a nice place to live.

If you could share a meal with any three people, past or present, who would they be? Chris Hemsworth, Nicole Kidman, and Keith Urban.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Preventing prejudice.

What is your pet hate? People commenting negatively on Facebook.
