If you could be any cartoon character, who would you be and why?

November 30, 2017 by Maggi Barnard

Jakieal Ware: I’d like to be Daffy Duck because he has big feet almost like flippers and then I could swim even faster.

Erin Mayo: I would like to be Chase from Paw Patrol. He is a police man and saves people and I also like dogs.

Lola Morrison: Lola Bunny, because of her name!

Question of the Week?

November 23, 2017 by Maggi Barnard

If you could ask your pet one question what would it be?

Leonie Burton: After Maisy, my cat broke her leg and I had to pay the vet account, I’d like to ask her: “Do you have insurance?”

Megan Davies: I’d like to ask my cat Dora ‘the explorer’ what it’s like not to work for a living.

Crystal Taylor: I’d want to ask my two dogs if they like the way that I’m looking after them.

Which leisure, sporting or shop facility would you like to improve or have in Forbes?

November 9, 2017 by Maggi Barnard

Meaghan Gallagher: Nothing in particular. In my line of work, I travel around a lot and can get things from all over.

Leah Byrnes: Under 18’s have to be accompanied by an adult for all movies at the cinema. That used to be a bit inconvenient. More affordable clothing stores would be nice.

Gayle Williams: I think we are fairly well supplied. Especially since the cinema was opened and the Bunnings and Spotlight development, I’ve been very happy.

What is still left on your bucket list that you would really like to do

November 2, 2017 by Maggi Barnard

Adrian Nowland: I would like to be self-sufficient with everything that I have.

Isaac Dengate: I still want to do some travelling all over the world.

Jenny Kviesitis: I seriously would like to retire and travel Australia.

What is your favourite teddy bear’s name and why do you like this teddy bear so much?

October 26, 2017 by Maggi Barnard

Lexi Millerd: My favourite teddy bear’s name is Sonny. I like him because my mummy had it when she was a little girl.

Josie Watson: Morris is my favourite teddy because my granny gave her to me.

Asnika Sutharjan: My favourite teddy bear is Tandi. It changes colours when you rub it and goes from white to pink.

QUESTION of the week

October 19, 2017 by Maggi Barnard

What are your thoughts on the replacement of the existing Camp Street Bridge?

John Zannes: The new proposed design is a great opportunity for Forbes to reinvigorate an entry from the east into Forbes.

Susan Chau: It’s wonderful for us to have a new and safer, more up to date bridge whilst still maintaining the heritage features such as the preserving of the beautiful antique lights.

Brett Rout: It’s due for an upgrade and the most important thing is the safety of the community

What is the hardest thing about being an adult?

October 12, 2017 by Maggi Barnard

Jackson Brown: The hardest thing about being an adult, among other things, is paying the bills and mortgages.

Don White: It would have to be growing old and maintaining your fitness.

Alec Langfield: It just happens! I feel lucky to be an adult!

October 5, 2017 by Maggi Barnard
