Forbes Cattle Sale

Conducted 07/03/2016

There were 1589 yarded. The market this week eased for yearlings and feeder cattle by 5 to 8c a kilo and as much as 10c in places for prime grades. Heavy steers were unchanged and cows eased just 2 to 3c compared to last week’s sale.

There were 1458 yarded. Quality was good comprising mostly yearlings, a few heavy steers and the usual run of cows. Competition was keen and all classes of cattle remained unchanged or fully firm compared to last week’s sale.
