PHS students had the opportunity to attend the LIVIN program. LIVIN is an organisation that wants to break the silence and spark conversations by encouraging all Australians to speak up and share what they are going through.

Students are now equipped with conversational strate­gies to drive stigma reduction around mental health, knowledge to identify warning signs, symptoms of mental health challenges, and practical strategies to help those around them struggling.

The Forbes Netball Club players had a great day at the West Wyalong Netball Carnival. The Forbes Under 10’s and Under 13s’ both took out their divisions.

The Forbes Country Music Club June muster was held Sunday 9th June and was an afternoon of fun and great entertainment for all.

The club welcomed five new Forbes Country Music Club Members; Steph Sargent, Amanda and Brian Williams, Rosemary Parker and Robert Chriscoli.

It was great to see the boys hanging off Ben’s every word. Ben said how proud he was to come back as a role model.

The U10S U8s and U7s sat down with South Sydney Winger Haizyn Mellars did a Q&A with the kids.

After the clinic Ben handed out Rabbitohs merchandise and signed kids footy gear for them.

Families celebrated National Family Week in Forbes on 15th May.

This years theme was Celebrating Family, Diversity and Connections.

This year, National Families Week ran from 13th – 19th May.

The theme for 2024 was “celebrating family diversity and connections”.

National Families Week is a chance to celebrate the vital role families play in Australian society.

All families in attendance had a great time, enjoying the planned activities and sausage sizzle.
