As we wrap up our 23-24 season we would like to take the opportunity to thank our REFEREES for their commitment and support of Parkes Touch.

It can be a tough gig some weeks and not one that many people put their hands up to help out with. Without them we wouldn’t be able to play the game we love.

NO REFS = NO GAMES = NO COMPETITION. We appreciate each and everyone of you.

Next time you see one of these amazing referees around the traps, give them a pat on the back and say thank you.

6 students travelled to Blayney Showground with Mrs Earl this morning to participate in the NSW DPI Judging Workshops education day.

This allows students to find out and fine tune their skills on judging around the show circuit – Grains, Fruit and Vege, Fleece, Meat Sheep, Dairy cattle, Soils and of course Beef Cattle.

Other areas touched on were Auctioneering and Public Speaking.

Thank you to the parents and carers that attended our special event, making it a huge success.

Parliament Induction took place on Monday to formally induct our parliament leaders for 2024.
