How long have you lived in or around Forbes and what do you like about living here? I began working in Forbes in 2013 and moved here with my family in 2015. I love how friendly, accommodating, and helpful people are here. The town itself is well-kept.

What was your first job? My first job was working on the floor at a fruit and vegetable cannery.

What makes you laugh the most? My son, my wife, and any number of old British comedies.

If money were no object, what would you do with your time? I would travel with my wife.

Describe your dream holiday? Anywhere with my wife really, we’ve done some great trips over the years. I think as long as you’re with the right person it doesn’t matter where you go.

What is a favourite childhood memory of yours? Growing up in a small country town and the freedom that it brings, like playing in the creek and riding bikes ‘til dark.

If you could live in any time or place, where and when would that be? I’m pretty happy with where I am right now. Live in the moment and make the most of all that comes your way.

If you could share a meal with any three people, past or present, who would they be? My wife, former Australia cricket Captain Allan Border and either Nelson Mandela or Barack Obama.

What is your pet hate? People who drive slowly in the overtaking lane.

What school do you go to and what do you like most about it? I attend Forbes High School and what I like most about it is the culture surrounding the school community and the support system in place to assist the students for success in all aspects of their schooling.

What is your favourite subject at school and why? My favourite subject is biology because it makes you think deeper about the world you live in and it is interesting to learn all about the human body.

What makes you laugh the most? My gal pals.

What is your dream job? My dream job is to become a surgical or anaesthetist nurse.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? The superpower I wish I could have is the ability to time travel into the future or back to the past.

What is your pet hate? People being on their phone during class time.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? I would live in New York City, because there is a range of different cultures and there is always something to do, you can never be bored.

What school do you go to and what do you like most about it? I go to Forbes High School and I like the support from teachers.

What is your favourite subject at school and why? Agriculture, I am most passionate about that industry.

What makes you laugh the most? English class.

What is your dream job? To be a Farmer.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? It would be to have the ability to fly.

What is something you are really good at? Showing cattle.

What is your pet hate? People chewing loudly.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? I would choose Forbes, I love the small country town and community.

What school do you go to and what do you like most about it? I go to Forbes North Public School, my favourite thing at Forbes North is how kind the teachers are and the two big ovals in our playground.

What is your favourite subject at school and why? My favourite subject at school is narrative writing, I love it because I get to use my imagination and write a story with no restrictions.

What makes you laugh the most? My best friend Phoebe, who is a funny, kind and nice person.

What is your dream job? My dream job is to be a vet nurse and run my own animal rescue, or to become a famous trick rider like my great Pop ‘Dudley Markwort’.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? To be able to speak to animals and understand what they’re saying, or to be able to turn into any animal.

What is something you are really good at? I think I am really good at reading lots of books, helping animals, horse riding and really good at trick riding, not as good as my great Pop though.

What is your pet hate? My pet hate would most definitely have to be not being able to continue a really good series that I have been reading.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? I think I would love to live out in the country on a quiet property with my animals and dream horse, a Friesian, as well as lots of space, green paddocks with tall green trees to provide shade.

What school do you go to, and what do you like most about it? Forbes North, I really enjoy the sport and sporting activities we get to do.

What is your favourite subject at school and why? English, because I really enjoy writing.

What makes you laugh the most? My class this year, 5/6Y.

What is your dream job? A pharmacist.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? What Matilda has in the story written by Roald Dahl.

What is something you are really good at? Netball.

What is your pet hate? When someone eats with their mouth open.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? Forbes, because all my friends are here.

What school do you go to and what do you like most about it? I go to St Laurence’s. The thing I like the most is the extra-curricular groups and activities like Tournament of the Minds and the Making Jesus Real team. I think we are very lucky to have the opportunity to be involved in these things.

What is your favourite subject at school and why? My favourite subject at school is art. I love sketching and being imaginative with different art styles. It’s really fun.

What makes you laugh the most? Enjoying silly jokes with my friends and sisters. My teacher makes me laugh a lot too.

What is your dream job? My dream job is to be an actress or movie director.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? I am a fan of Harry Potter and would like to be able to cast spells like a wizard.

What is something you are really good at? Playing the cello and art.

What is your pet hate? Spiders.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? Paris, because I want to climb the Eiffel Tower.

What is your favourite subject at school and why? Sport, because we play lots of fun games.

What makes you laugh the most? Carl Barron, he is a funny dude.

What is your dream job? To be the person that turns the light on and off at the Harbour Bridge.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? The ability to see into the future, particularly, the winning lotto numbers.

What is something you are really good at? Mowing the lawn, thanks to my parents I have had a lot of practice.

What is your pet hate? Mowing the lawn.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? Antarctica, there are no lawns to mow there.
