How long have you lived in Forbes? 12 years

Where do you work? I am self-employed at McCarron Cullinane Chudleigh.

What do you enjoy most about your job? Working outdoors directly with clients in both livestock and property. The challenge of different marketing options that is always changing keeps the job interesting and rewarding.

What do you do in your spare time? I enjoy watching the local Platypi team play,and relax around the farm with the family.

How do you like your coffee? Double shot flat white, made with Doctors Orders beans from SaGaWa coffee roasters.

What makes your day? When the whole day goes according to plan and on time.

What is your favourite food? Spaghetti Bolognaise.

If you could go on holiday anywhere in the world, where would you go? Gunlom in the Northern Territory with my wife, Kimberly, and daughter Grace.

How long have you lived in Forbes? I moved here from Drysdale in Victoria in
December 2015 to be closer to my son.

Where do you work? I am Publicity Officer for Neighbourhood Watch and I do volunteer work at the Jemalong Residential Village.

What do you enjoy most about your job? Meeting people and getting to know Forbes.

What do you do in your spare time? I like knitting – whatever is on the go and people tell me they want – beanies, jumpers, gloves.

How do you like your coffee? Skinny, half strength latte.

What makes your day? Getting up, looking outside and seeing the sun shining is a bonus!

What is your favourite food? Spaghetti Bolognaise

If you could go on holiday anywhere in the world, where would you go? I would love to go to Ireland as my mum came from there and I have never been.

We bought the shop on 30th June 2013, but didn’t make the move until after my son James was born one year later.

Where do you work? Forbes Family Dentists

What do you enjoy most about your job? Getting a great outcome for patients. Particularly when it’s been a difficult case and the patient is really satisfied with the result.

What do you do in your spare time?
Lately, I really enjoy dancing.

How do you like your coffee? Cap – no sugar!

What makes your day? When the staff have a great day too.

What is your favourite food? Tex Mex – anything smokey on a charcoal BBQ.

If you could go on a holiday anywhere in the world, where would you go? I’d love to go on a survival holiday in the Swedish outback, riding a husky drawn sleigh, creating clothing from reindeer skins and sitting around a fire in a log cabin.

Does watching the Olympic Games motivate you to do sport?

Fiona Hayward, Eyewear Specs: It does actually. On the weekend we were watching the cycling and then we went for a big bike ride with my eight year old daughter. It is so inspiring to see the athletes so passionate about their sport.

Mylessa Ryan, Furniture One: No, as I am not a sports person. I have bad knees, but I do watch the Olympics and enjoy it as I have very sporty children. I love the athletics, gymnastics and swimming.

Amy Townsend, Anytime Fitness: Yes it does as I coach the Red Bend junior rugby league U16 girls, and I am also captain of the Forbes Magpies League Tag team. I loved the Women’s Rugby Sevens – their standard of playing is so inspiring.

How long have you lived in Forbes? I was born and bred in Forbes then moved away for many years and returned last year with my young family. I’ve lived all over the world but really enjoy being back home.

Where do you work? I own and manage Acacia Events, working with clients across regional NSW to deliver great events.

What do you enjoy most about your work? I love the tourism and events industry. Being able to make a contribution to local economies and communities is very rewarding and I have the privilege of partnering with some amazing people and businesses.

What do you do in your free time? Eat, drink and relax with family and friends.

How do you like your coffee? I’m mostly a tea drinker but on weekends and when I need the caffeine I love the Ethiopia Nespresso capsules.

What makes your day? A spontaneous “I love you” from my two year old!

How long have you lived in Forbes? I was born in Forbes a fair few years ago. I have only lived away from Forbes for about 18 months.

Where do you work? I have been Manager at John Davis Motors for the past six years.

What do you enjoy most about your job? Meeting new people, returning customers and seeing them happy with their new cars.

What do you do in your spare time?
I spend pretty much all my time with my partner, Sarelle, and her two kids, and my four-year-old St Bernard “puppy”.

How do you like your coffee? Caramel Latte.

What makes your day? Buying a car is the second biggest investment in you life, so seeing families who are happy with their purchase is very satisfying.

If you could go on holiday anywhere in the world where would you go? I would love to go to Nashville, USA as I am a big country music fan, especially of Taylor Swift.

What is your favourite food? Shepherd’s pie – I can make it, but Sarelle makes a great one!
