How long have you lived in or around Forbes? I have lived in Forbes for about 14 years. I lived in a few places before then, but I grew up in Lake Cargelligo.

What do you do for work? I am the manager/director at Tyreright Forbes.

What do you enjoy most about living in Forbes? I really like the community in Forbes. It’s very close and passionate, and it’s a nice place to live.

How do you drink your coffee? I like having a cappuccino with one sugar.

Where would your dream holiday be to? I’ll always go to the Northern Territory for a fishing trip. I love it up there. It’s great for barramundi fishing.

What do you do in your spare time? I love fishing. I go out to most of the local
dams and lakes around the Central West.

How long have you lived in Forbes? I have lived in Forbes for 11 years.

What do you like most about living in Forbes? What I like most about Forbes is the lifestyle. The people here are lovely and there are great things to get involved with such as sporting groups etc.

What do you do in your spare time?
My hobbies and passions include reading and horse riding.

Who would you have dinner with if you had the opportunity to? I don’t need to have dinner with anyone famous. I just want my family and friends with me at the dinner table.

What would your dream holiday include? My dream holiday would be one of total relaxation and not a thing to do.

What would you like to see change in the world? I would like to see more stability and less hostility in the world.

How long have you lived in or around Forbes?
I actually live on the road, and have done so for about five and a half years. Before that I lived in Nambucca Heads on the North Coast.

What do you do for work?
I’ve been in Forbes for the last five weeks setting up the Solo’s rally. I am the site coordinator. I’m a volunteer, and I retired before I became a member of the CMCA Solo’s Network.

What do you do in your spare time?
I just love being on the road. That’s all I do nowadays. But I used to be a keen fisherman and I used to enjoy renovating the houses I owned.

What would be your dream holiday?
I’ve just about been to every single town in Australia, so I’m not too sure to be honest. Later this year I’ll probably end up somewhere north, in Queensland. That would be good.

What do you do for work? I’m doing a maternity relief contract as tourism development officer at Forbes Shire Council.

Where would your dream holiday be? I love Hong Kong. The food and sights are amazing. However, there are so many places in the world that could be a dream holiday.
What do you do in your spare time?
I will be spending my spare time getting settled into my new place.

How long have you lived in or around Forbes?
I’ve lived in Forbes now for three years, and I’m enjoying it more and more each and every day.

I work as a multimedia specialist. I write scripts, and work ads, logos and websites. I also do graphic design and PR. I also help with Start Fast Productions.

What do you enjoy about living in Forbes?
I love the freedom about living in Forbes.

What would your dream holiday be?
I would love to go to a ‘Carnivale’ in Brazil. Holidays there are cheap, the people are passionate, and it would be a great, fun, carefree party atmosphere.

How long have you lived in or around Forbes? Well later this year it will be seventy years in the Lachlan Valley but only thirty years in good old Forbes.

What do you enjoy about living in Forbes? I have been to places all over the country and a little over seas. Yes we have the best country in the world and Forbes is one of the best. The people are friendly and there is plenty to do. The climate is great. Can you think of any other town with a beautiful walking/bike track ten kilometres around a lake in the centre of town?

What do you/did you do for work? I worked in a little furniture business for forty one years. Our customers were so nice it was a pleasure to come to work.

What do you do in your spare time/as a hobby? Spare time is a luxury but after the gardening and working at Vinnies I do find a game of bowls lots of fun. I invite anyone interested to try out for bowls any Wednesday at 1pm

What would be your dream holiday? Just a little trip with Sandra in the caravan. It is a big country and there is so much still to see.
