Disaster Relief Expanded As H-E-L-P Only An SES Away: Last week the NSW SES Forbes Unit called upon H-E-L-P from the NRMA Insurance chopper to assist with transporting people and resupply drops to two flood affected communities in Forbes. For the past ten years, NRMA Insurance has been the Principal Partner of NSW SES. The partnership focuses on engaging with and empowering local communities to understand their local risks, and take steps to manage that risk through preventative action. Rotary Markets Saturday Dec 11 at Victoria Park: Saturday December 11th the Rotary Ipomoea Market will be held in Victoria Park, corner of Harold St & Court St, Forbes and not Lion’s Park like normal. COVID rules apply and the event kicks off at 8:30am.
