Special Visit: Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack visited Flannery’s Pharmacy last week to congratulate them on taking out the Pharmacy of the Year Award for 2019. Mr McCormack enjoyed a tour around the store with owner Sarah Hazell. Mr McCormack also enjoyed lunch at the Lakeside Takeaway Café in Forbes.

Vale Tim Fischer AC: Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack has paid tribute to Tim Fischer after he lost his battle with cancer last week. “Tim was a giant of The National Party, he was a giant of Australia, but more than that, he was a champion for regional and rural communities. Regional Australia had no better friend than Tim. My heartfelt thoughts are with Tim’s wife Judy, sons Harrison and Dominic and his many friends across Australia. The man from Boree Creek will be sorely missed,” said Mr McCormack last week.
