News On The Netball Courts

July 5, 2018 by Maggi Barnard

The Forbes Netball Association (FNA) is asking for nominations for end of season awards.

Each team will have one player nominated by the coach, who has shown outstanding co-operation, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the season. The winner will be announced at the annual presentations.

Nominations for the Chris Read Memorial Award are also open. This award is for the person who has helped the committee where and whenever it is required. The winner will also be announced at the annual presentations.

The committee would also like all the winners of last year’s perpetual trophies to return them, so they can be organised for this year. Thank you.

There will be no Saturday competition this weekend, due to the start of the school holidays. The Saturday competition will commence again after the school holidays.

Under 11’s Carnival Dresses

Players who still have 11’s carnival dresses are asked to please return them to the office. There are still many dresses to be handed in. Thank you to all the players who have handed in dresses and paid their Parkes carnival costs.
