Elvis Lennox won the Elvis look alike competition for the first two years. Here he is with the trophy at the very first festival in 1993.

 

It did not take long for the kids to start dressing up. Here is three-year-old Steven Lennox and a friend at the 1994 festival.

The Wall of Fame was one of the first initiatives of the festival committee. In 1997 Little Patty (middle) was inducted. She is with Bob and Anne Steel (left).

The street parade was another of the iconic events on the program that was started in the early years. This is the parade in 2001.

 

Parkes trio Amitie has a loyal following at the festival. Here they are at the 2019 festival.
