
Since becoming the Member for Riverina, Michael McCormack has represented local communities with a strong voice in Canberra and is proud of all that has been achieved.
“Some of the projects I have delivered in the Forbes Shire Council area include $1 million in Drought Communities Programme funding, $870,000 to reinvigorate the Forbes Central Business District and $3,550 for the Forbes Cancer Patients Assistance Society,” said Michael.
Further projects delivered by Michael include $6,500 for the Forbes Men’s Shed, $18,000 for the permanent shelter at the Bedgerabong Recreation Ground, $210,000 to relocate the Aussie Biscuits factory and $1.51 million to expand the Central West Livestock Exchange.
In addition to the before mentioned Michael is also responsible for a further $1,200 to install a replica honour board at Garema Public Hall, $13,600 for CCTV at the Wiradjuri Dreaming Centre and $2.1 million for the Forbes Northern Heavy Vehicle Bypass.
