Fun Filled Kristie Carpenter Day

On Saturday the Kristie Carpenter Perpetual Trophy was contested for the second time, with a field of 73 club and social players enjoying the sunny conditions.

The winner of the Perpetual Trophy was Denis Culley (41 pts), who managed to get there on count back between three players. Prizes were shared across all playing groups.

The Mens Div-1 winner was Paul Kay, with runner-up Stephen Uphill. They both scored 41 points. The Mens Div-2 winner was Denis Culley, with runner-up Matt Duff (39 pts) on count back from Peter Tisdell. The Ladies winner was Ev Uphill on 38 points, on count back from runner-up Enid Baker (38). The Social player winner was Jim Carpenter (29 pts) taking the honours ahead of Veronica Rebellato (25).

The Mens ball sweep went to: 41 – D Culley, P Kay, S Uphill; 40 – D Churchill, B Carpenter; 39 – P Pymont, T Cogswell, M Duff, P Tisdell; 38 – M Haley, P Maher, R Borger, T Callaghan; 37 – B Everest, R Webb.

While the Ladies went to 35 on count back: 37 – J Cripps; 36 – J Judge; 35 – C Venebales and E Coombs. The NTP’s went to: 9th – J Fletcher; 18th – T Callaghan.
