Frost And Fire Back For 2021

April 16, 2021 by Maggi Barnard

FIRED UP: Forbes Mayor Phyllis Miller is excited about the 2021 edition of Frost and Fire – one of Forbes Shire’s signature tourism events.

Forbes Shire Council’s signature tourism event Frost and Fire will be Saturday 19 June 2021 from 4-10pm. The winter solstice celebrates the symbolism of fire, light, and the moon and this Frost and Fire event will feature entertainment under the stars.

“We are so excited to bring you this incredible event again this year,” said Forbes Shire Council Mayor Phyllis Miller.

“We have the perfect location here in Forbes, the Ski Dam, surrounded by water and beautiful parkland. Set under a beautiful starlit sky with amazing line up of talent, it will be a night to remember!”

Local acts Gracey Jones and the Fog Pilots will share the stage with renowned music icon Bob Evans taking centre stage as the main act – ARIA winning alter ego of Jebediah front man Kevin Mitchell.

“The night will be full of entertainment with Wiradjuri cultural performances, fire stunt performer Walter Whip and the Flame, John Buttagig who plays two guitars simultaneously and is also a ‘Jon Snow’ looka-like for all the Game of Thrones fans,” said Mayor Miller.

“Council is currently seeking expressions of interest from food vendors and submissions close 16 April 2021,” she said.

“Public health orders restrict the number of people allowed. There is no cost, the event is free of charge, but entry will be denied if you do not have a ticket.”

Tickets are essential and can be reserved through: www.123tix.com.au/events/16786/frost-and-fire
