Yarded 38482including 31235 lambs . Prime lambs, especially heavies were again well supplied along with plainer grades showing dryness. The light plainer lambs eased $3 and trade weights were as much as $5 cheaper. Heavier lambs held up close to last weeks rates with the dryer types easier. Prime merino lambs sold at unchanged rates compared to last weeks sale.

There were 7247 grown sheep yarded and competition was strong. Prices for all descriptions remained fully firm and up to $5 dearer for heavy sheep compared to last week’s dearer sale.
