Forbes Sheep Sale
Conducted 02/02/2016
Yarded 39718, including 29922 lambs. Lamb quality was again very good and heavy lambs were once again in the majority. There was increased competition from a large field of NSW and interstate buying orders. Heavy lambs were $6 to $9 dearer and extra heavy lambs sold $10 to $15 dearer and more in places. The trade and light crossbred lambs lifted $5 to $7. All other descriptions were also dearer compared to our last sale on 19th January.
