Forbes Netball News

November 8, 2019 by Maggi Barnard

The Forbes Netball Association is preparing for the 2020 representative season by calling for applications from players (opens), coaches and umpires.

Representative player nomination forms can be downloaded from the FNA website, and must be emailed to Melissa at secretary.forbesnetball@gmail.com by 20th November.

All applications for Representative coach- es and assistant coaches 2020 will be considered and should be emailed to Melissa at secretary.forbesnetball@gmail.com by November 20.

All umpires are encouraged to apply, and must state their National badge, or working toward their National badge, and their WWCC number. Applicants must email Melissa at secretary.forbesnetball@gmail.com by November 20.

Congratulations to Kally Molloy who last week gained her FNA bronze umpire certificate, after joining the FNA Umpire Development program earlier in the night competitions.

Last week, NSG to Postie did not supply an umpire for their allocated duty and must pay the $50 fine before they can play this week. The team gives their opposition a five goal start in their next game, and will lose 2 competition points. All teams must look very carefully through the draw for the occasional umpire duty.
