Back on Saturday the 13th of January the competition was the Annual ‘Righties vs Lefties’ Trophy, sponsored by Steven Grallelis and played under a Stableford Medley format. The field of 78 found the sunny conditions to their liking and all scored well.

The Overall Trophy went to the ‘Righties’ team, defending their success from last

year when they snatched it from the ‘Lefties’. The combined effort of men and ladies held sway.

In the Stableford competition the Division 1 was a very close affair with three players all finishing on the same score of 38 points. Caleb Hanrahan won on count back from Phil Duke, with Ian Brown missing out by one point on the back-9 count back.

The Division 2 was won by Liam Fraser with 39 points. He has certainly benefitted from the Xmas break. Runner-up was John Ridley with 38 points, also needing a count back to edge past Brett Woonton.

The Ladies winner was Sally Perry with 36 points, which certainly beefed up the

‘Righties’ team.

The NTP’s were: 9th – Men: A Dukes, Ladies: J Judge; 18th – Men: A McMillan, Ladies:

Nil. The Pro Shop Super-pin, on the 3rd green, went to Rob Webb with a shot to 223 cm. The ball sweep went to 34 points. Check in the Pro Shop if you are keen to find out.

Head Pro Will has organised a TaylorMade Equipment Day for the 6th of Feb, and also a

Callaway Equipment day on the 13th of Feb for which times are available from 1-5 pm.

Contact him at the Pro Shop if you are interested.
