Recently, Flannery’s Pharmacy celebrated their Guild Pharmacy of the Year win with the Forbes community.
“We wanted to reward our customers for their loyalty and support and decided to host a week long celebration,” said Business Manager Debbie Prior.
Flannery’s Pharmacy hosted various promotions throughout the week, including a nail bar, mini makeovers and blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring. “We also had some special guests instore including Di Gill from the Rural Mental Health team and a representative from Webstercare who talked to our customers about medication management,” said Debbie.
The week culminated with a special fundraising morning tea for CanAssist on Friday 20th September. “The team at Flannery’s baked some delicious goodies and ROKFM were instore interviewing customers and team members,” said Debbie. “We were also joined by the CanAssist committee who work so hard to raise funds for local cancer sufferers”. The team at Flannery’s were very proud to raise $596 for Forbes CanAssist.
“Our customers also received free giveaways throughout the week,” said Debbie. “And everyone who used their LifeClub card went into the draw to win one of six gift bas- kets and a $100 LifeClub prize.”
Lucky winners of the gift baskets were Cloe Longobardi, Ellen Dehn, Chris Nicholson, Sarah Turner, Harold Collits and Robin Schall with Dianne Knox-Niven winning the $100 LifeClub prize.
“I would like to congratulate all our winners and to thank all our lovely customers for their ongoing support and loyalty to our Pharmacy,” said Debbie.
