Dominant Effort In Foursomes Championship

Mens 2025 Foursomes Scratch and Handicap Winners – Caleb Hanrahan and Archie Quirk.

The Forbes Men’s golf on the weekend was the Foursomes Championships played over two days. Sponsorship by FINDEX (Forbes) ensured participants were primed for prizes. And the weather made for very pleasant conditions to play in.

The overall Scratch winners was the pair of Caleb Hanrahan and Archie Quirk. Their 148 was two shots better than Runners-up Peter Dawson and John Betland on 150.

Each pair improved on Day 2 but Caleb and Archie maintained a 1-shot advantage on each day.

The overall Handicap winners were Caleb Hanrahan and Archie Quirk. This cemented their dominance on the weekend with their score of 138 nett well ahead of runners-up Paul Pymont and Adam Ruperto 145 nett.

Prizes were provided for Scratch and Handicap winners and runners-up on each day. Check in the Pro Shop.

The day 1 ball sweep went to 78 nett on count back with the day 2 ball sweep go­ing to 81 nett. There was one visitor, Ian Coombs from Bogan Gate. The day 1 NTP’s went to: 9th M Walton; 18th R Murray, while the 3rd hole super pin went to M Walton (135cm). The day 2 NTP’s went to: 9th R Murray; 18th C Hanrahan, with the 3rd hole super pin going to Laim Fraser (207cm).Head Pro Will has organised a Taylor­Made fitting day on Wednesday 9 July.
