Croquet News And Results

April 12, 2018 by Maggi Barnard

The cooler weather has been with us on some occasional mornings but warming up later during the day. It will not be too long before we start looking for warmer clothes. We have changed our starting time to 9am with check-in by 8:45am. Numbers are drawn at 8:55am.

We also celebrated Seniors Week this week and organised to have social games of croquet on Tuesday, 10th April. Anyone who liked to come and join us for a social game and a delicious morning tea catered for by our members was invited.

We love to see some new faces and also others whom have played in the past who are now unable to do so. You are welcome to join us for a cuppa.

On Saturday, 3rd April in golf croquet, Marj and Ken Styles won all three games. Congratulations!

On Saturday, 7th April, Dorothea Croker, Jeff Liebich and Joan Littlejohn also won all three games. Congratulations must also go to those players.

Croquet is becoming a very popular sport with the numbers increasing. If you would like to have a game, we play each Tuesday and Saturday.
