Week ending 2nd June
On Tuesday, 29th May golf croquet saw a large number of members attending the day’s games with two groups having to follow on. The morning had Veva MacCullagh, Bob Murray, Robin Pols, Libby Smart and Marj Styles as the winners of three games.
A frosty start to Saturday, 2nd June and yet again we had another good turnout, with four visitors bringing the number of people attending to 31 in total. Welcome back to regular visitors to our town, Barry Shearing and Helen Moore. Another welcome to Gay Mitchell and Jennie Arthur, on their first visit.
The winners of three games on this day were Cherylin Cole, John MacCullagh, Bob Murray, Robin Pols and Bill Scott. Well done to all!
The birthday lunch for this month was held at the Forbes Services Memorial Club on Tuesday, 5th June.
The Croquet Club is always looking for new members. If you would like to have a game, we meet every Tuesday and Saturday.
