Now in its 22nd year, the Central West Car Club is hosting its annual charity car show this weekend on Saturday 17 October.
Importantly, this year the event will be held at it’s new venue, McGlynn Oval in Parkes. For those not familiar, the oval is located behind the netball courts and hockey field on Baker St, just off the Forbes Rd.
All vehicles are welcome with entry from 8am to 9am on the day at a cost of $20, with all profits going to local charity. For spectators entry is by gold coin donation which allows entry into the show ‘n shine from 9am and/or the swap meet from 6am.
Crowds will be entertained by live music from Easy Goin’, and there will also be merchandise for sale, a canteen, face painting and plenty to see before the trophy presentation at 2pm.
For those wanting to make a weekend of it, there will be a street cruise on Friday night, meeting at Bushman’s dam at 6:30pm before cruising some laps along Clarinda St.
Many thanks go out to local sponsors Parkes Tyrepower, Kustom Autospa, Littlewoods Smash Repairs, Parkes Leagues Club and Parkes Shire Council for their continued support.
Big shout out to our sponsors! We can’t put on an event like this without you
