How long have you lived in or around Forbes? I’ve lived here on and off for what’s now 60 years. I’ve moved away a few times but I keep coming back.

Where do you work? I’m currently the chairman of the Forbes Aboriginal Working Party. I worked at TAFE for 12 years before that.

What do you do in your spare time? I used to be a builder by trade. I actually worked in four different trades, but I do enjoy fixing things. I’m still a handy man.

What makes your day? I would say helping people. It’s always a nice thing to do, and it’s what I like to do.
