Big Turn Out For Tim Lynch

STRONG SHOWING: Forbes Shooters performed well in the Tim Lynch Memorial last weekend including Brett Hooper who won C Grade.

On Sunday there were 22 shooters in attendance for the Tim Lynch Memorial Shield shoot, one of the flagship days on the calendar with competition tight.

In AA grade, Doug Osbourne from Griffith returned 23-21-18-21 for a total 83 with Chris Bourke (Dubbo) 23-17-22-19 total 81 in second and Adrian Emeny also from Griffith, 21-22-19-18 for a total of 80 in third.

First in A grade was Chris McPherson (Dubbo) 20-19-20-20 total 79 while in B grade, Jake Guzelian (Dunedoo) 22-19-18-17 for a total 76 got the money while local Brett Hooper won C grade with 17-14-18-18 and a total of 67.

The Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting shooters .22 cabilre rimfire rifle shoot was held on Wednesday August 4, results were:
• 25metre .22 target shoot were – Denis Finn, 250/250; Ian Keene, 250/250; Dennis Christey, 250/250; Paul Baker, 250/250; Bruce Runchel, 249/250; Lionel Redfern, 246/250.
• 50metre Crow were – Ian Keene, 250/250.
• 75metre Feral Cat target shoot were – Dennis Christey, 110/120.
• 100metre Feral Cat target shoot were – Bruce Runchel, 101/120; Dennis Christey, 99/120.

Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting shooters sporting clay two-day shoot last weekend, 75 target five stand Saturday shoot were – Charlie North (Narrabri) 68; Chris Bourke (Dubbo) 67; Mellissa Bourke (Dubbo Lady) 43; Amella Bourke (Dubbo Junior Lady) 19; Josh Picker (Junior) 15.

The next shoot for the Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting clay’s will be their monthly shoot on Sunday 12th September 2021, this will be a 100 target field shoot at 10am at the Bedgerebong Road Range.
