
BIG CROWDS: Massive numbers of Forbes locals attended this year’s first public march since 2019 due to COVID.

ROCKIN’ THE LACHLAN: There was plenty of live entertainment and local music at Super Mega Fun Day.

PEDALLING: The pedal boats proved to be hugely popular at Lion’s Park last Saturday and during the school holidays.

MARCHING ON: School children from across the district turned out for the ANZAC Day march.

VISIT: Author Richard Anderson recently came to Forbes library as part of the regional libraries book tour and to promote his new book “Small Mercies”.

FRENCH CONNECTION: Even French Bulldogs were welcome down at the Super Mega Fun Day.

MENSHED OFFICIAL OPENING: Attendees from across the state turned up for the grand opening of the new Forbes Menshed last week.

DRIVER EDUCATION: Melissa McGuiness with NSW Shooters Party MP Phil Donato and Forbes Shire Councillor Steve Karaitiana at the You Choose young driver education night last week at Forbes Youth and Community Centre.

GRAND OPENING: Forbes Ninja Park was formally opened by NSW Liberal MP Bronnie Taylor along with Nationals Upper House Deputy Whip Sam Farraway with Mayor Phyllis Miller (left).
