More MX Action This Weekend After NSW Champs Success

April 30, 2021 by Maggi Barnard

Forbes Auto Sports Club hosted its first-ever championship meeting earlier this month on April 10 and April 11 in a real boost for the club.

In an action-packed weekend full of racing, the 2021 New South Wales Senior Track Championships produced five different class winners after two days of very competitive action.

Junior classes were dominated by Forbes local riders with Forbes’ Michael Price claiming second place in the U12-U16s and in U9s to U12s race hot prospect, Sam Drane, just shaded his Forbes clubmate Hugh Hope-Hodgetts for first place.

In other news, the Forbes Auto Sports Club are looking for experienced riders to come aboard as club coaches. For more information visit the Forbes Auto Sports Club’s Facebook page.

MX Round 1 will also be held this weekend May 1. Entries are closed for this event.

The track is in superb condition due largely to the efforts of numerous volunteers. Participants and attendees should also be aware there are limited transponders for hire so please ensure you are organised to avoid disappointment. See you Saturday!
