October 1, 2021 By Maggi Barnard

Theme: Heal Country, Heal Our Nation

Each year the Forbes community celebrates NAIDOC Week. The purpose of NAIDOC Week is to celebrate the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and to foster greater understanding of Indigenous culture.

Award categories include: Indigenous Young Achiever – Male (under 18), Indigenous Young Achiever – Female (under 18). Nominations are now open and will close at 5.00pm Friday 29 October. If you would like to nominate an Indigenous person for the above awards email at community@forbes.nsw.gov.au
