It seems like the Forbes Meals on Wheels volunteers not only deliver meals, but end up rescuing lambs too. Cynthia West (behind the wheel) and Cheryl Garner had a bit of an adventure this week.

Generous Donation: Laurel Vale Station donated four Angus steers at Forbes cattle sale to be auctioned off with all proceeds donated to a specific organisation to help out with the NSW and QLD floods. The steers were sold to Nutrien Forbes for $10,000 and they put them back up for auction and made $6,285. This means a grand total of $16,285 was raised!
