The regatta is attended by community organisations, businesses, council teams, schools and dragon boat clubs who race 200 metre races with boats of 20 people. Forbes Dragon Boat Club had 18 paddlers plus a sweep and drummer. They placed third in four heats and first in their final heat however missed the final by one point.
