Yarded 23568 including 13422 lambs . Although quality was mixed again there was an increase in the number of prime shorn young lambs which attracted strong competition. Light lambs were firm to $3 dearer, trade weights were firm and heavy lambs improved $5 to $10 compared to last week’s sale.

There were 10146 grown sheep yarded and prices eased. Light sheep were $2 to $3 cheaper and medium and heavy grades fell by $3 to $5 compared to last week’s sale.
