There were 1908 yarded. Numbers increased by just 500 and the overall quality was mostly good with prime yearlings and steers well supplied along with feeder types. Cows and heavy steers improved further as expected with heavy steers 5 to 10c a kilo dearer and cows 10 to 15c better. Trade weight cattle sold at mostly firm rates with prime yearling steers up to 5c dearer compared to last week’s sale.
